Post-training with Stephen Rosenholtz - "Functional Integration Lessons on the chair"

How to let a person explore and learn
new and different possibilities of movement in sitting.

In this advanced you will learn the classical sitting FI lesson taught by Moses, freeing the shoulders to organize the spine and the way of sitting. We will employ criterion movements, substitution of effort for the work of muscles that hold the shoulders and a progression of integration that leads to better sitting. This lesson is particularly useful with elder clients, those who sit a great deal of the time, people in wheelchairs and those with frozen shoulder. For those new clients who are not familiar with our Method this lesson is useful way of working since the lesson moves from the very familiar and known function sitting to new possibilities.
